Never leave a burning candle unattended, make sure you extinguish the candle before leaving the room. Be sure the wick ember is no longer glowing

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6-7mm) tall before relighting your candle to keep the wax clean and burning nicely

Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets

Place candle on a stable heat resistance surface away from flammable objects before lighting

Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time

Burn until melted wax pool reaches the edges to avoid tunnelling

Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air vents

Never touch or move a burning candle or container candle when the wax is liquid

Place burning candles at least three inches apart from one another

Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers or the flame becomes too high

Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire

Never let a candle burn to the end
